Towards a healthy, balanced and reflective of international volunteering.

    With increasing global poverty and increasing inequality, there is an urgent need to coordinate the many initiatives of international solidarity and new development tools for associations in the South.

    The concept of voluntary fair aims to create a secure, sustainable and rewarding for the voluntary and solidarity at international level. A lever indisputable. It allows the creation of virtuous circles of transmission of skills around the individual or collective initiatives. It facilitates access to the recruitment of volunteers for organizations in the South and facilitates ownership of decision-making and empowerment.

    The network DSF proposes a "charter for a volunteer fair, which governs the responsibilities and values shared by the players. The associations of the South, and DSF volunteers sign a tri-partite agreement for missions labels that meet the basic commitments.

Volunteering fair allows the creation of several labels around this concept, meaning that any association wishing to coordinate missions to these bases can edit its own charter and to argue for that. DSF helped these labeled associations to be organized at startup.
